What time should I arrive for services?
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled service time to give yourself enough time to complete a short intake form. If you arrive late, your therapist will try to accommodate you if possible; however, in order to stay on time for his or her next guest, the treatment may need to be shortened.

What should I wear?
If you are scheduled for a single treatment, you will be able to change out of your street clothes in the treatment room. You should undress to your level of comfort - many guests choose to undress completely and others choose to leave on their underwear. Either way, please keep in mind that you will be draped for privacy throughout your treatment. If you schedule more than one treatment, we will provide a robe and slippers for you to wear if you need to switch treatment rooms.

May I request the gender of my massage therapist?
Yes. Please feel free to specify if you have a strong gender preference for your massage therapist. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand the occasional need to change or cancel a scheduled appointment; however, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if your plans change. If you call to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, we must charge your credit card for 50% of the total price of the services booked.

We have voicemail if you need to call after regular business hours. If you do not contact us to cancel your appointment, you will be charged the full price of all services booked.

What if I am late for my appointment?
If you are running late, call us as soon as possible. We try to book ample time between appointments for all considerations. If you arrive late, we will try to provide partial or shortened services as long as doing so does not interfere with our next client’s appointment. Regardless of these accommodations, we are obliged to charge the full service price.

What is expected of me during my treatment?
The professionals at Continuum Studio are focused on your health and well-being. Communicate with your therapist if you have any questions or special requests, experience any discomfort or if you would like him/her to adjust technique. At all times during your treatments, you should feel free to relax.

What sort of training do your therapists have?
All of our professionals are selected for their personality, focus on health, their customer skills and the high quality of their technique. Each is also licensed and certified in accordance with all applicable state and city laws.

Is it customary to leave a gratuity?
If you are satisfied with your service, it is customary in the bodywork and skincare industry to leave a 15-20% gratuity for your therapist. Continuum Studio provides envelopes at the front desk for you to leave for your service provider.

Do you have showers?
All treatments are specifically designed so that you are not required to shower afterward. Continuum Studio does not provide showers; showering removes the products used during treatments, which actually diminishes the potential effects on your health. Only oil-free creams and lotions are used during massages.

What should I do with my valuables?
You will be given a pouch in your room at the beginning of your treatment. You can place jewelry and other small items in this when you disrobe.

Where should I park?
Street parking is usually plentiful on Clark Street on weekdays but challenging on weekends. Please allow ample time to find parking before your appointment start time. The Clark Street CTA bus stops right in front of the studio, on Clark at Hollywood.

How many guests can you accommodate at once?
We have four treatment rooms available for services at any given time. If you are interested in planning a small group event, please contact us by phone.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Traveler's Checks.

Is there an age requirement for services?
Continuum Studio will perform massage only for clients 18 years of age or older. We can offer skin care treatments to individuals under 18, but only with a parent or guardian present during the treatment.
